SURF SCHOOL
For fifteen years, Christophe and Rachel have been welcoming you to their surf school.
At the One palm surf shop in Léon and in an authentic and warm atmosphere, they offer services around the practice of surfing and its associated disciplines.
Surf
Discover surfing (bodyboard, longboard or bodysurf) or improve your skills on the most beautiful beach-breaks in the Landes in the heart of a protected natural "wild" area.
Paddle
The One Palm stand up paddle school offers an initiation into a stroll on the lake or a discovery of the activity in the ocean to learn to surf in the waves.
OUR SCHOOL
Treat yourself, come and learn (from 5 years old) surfing (bodyboard, longboard, stand up paddle, bodysurf) or improve your skills on the most beautiful beach-breaks in the Landes (40) in the heart of a “wild” area natural protected.
Christophe will share with you his passion for surfing and his teaching thanks to his experience acquired during many years of “surf trip”.
Whether you are a beginner or an expert, the lessons will be distributed in a warm atmosphere with state-certified instructors and equipment adapted to your level for maximum safety.
All in an exceptional setting on the “Lette Blanche” beach in the middle of the nature reserve.
Open all year (courses and Surfcamp during the Easter and All Saints holidays).

Our engagements
~ We provide you with a cloakroom.
~ School reception in Léon (town center) non-stop from 9 am to 8 pm.
~ Teaching distributed in French, English, Spanish.
~ Constitution of homogeneous groups.
~ Choice of the site adapted to the level of the pupils.
~ Knowledge of the environment, wave, current, tide etc …
~ Priority and user-friendliness rules for surfing.
~ Awareness of environmental protection.
~ Progressive access to an autonomous surfing practice.
~ Provided by a state-certified instructor (BE surf), physical trainer (Master STAPS) and holder of the national first aid and aquatic rescue certificate (BNSSA), as well as another BE instructor or a BPJEPS from the French surfing federation .
~ Equipment in good condition, adapted to the level and size of the participant, softboards (foam boards) for greater safety, isothermal equipment disinfected after each use.
~ One instructor for 8 students max.
~ Lycras in bright colors.
~ First aid kit.
~ Permanent analysis of weather conditions.
